Itseäni rupesi ihan häiritsemään G36 kaunokaisten vähyys, joten tässäpä teille omien mieltymysteni mukaan koottu G36k.





Vaihtoehtoisena tähtäimenä toimii G&P:n Aimpoint replica ja aina sillon tällöin piipun päässä keikkuu lyhykäinen siluänäri
Kovat jätkä löytää melko ison rakenteellisen virheen oikeaan G36k:hon verrattuna, enkä nyt puhu maruin kiiltomuovista.
Tulevaisuudessa tuohon on tulossa luultavasti ainakin erilainen perä ja Eotechi.

Tyylikäs geggo, vaikka toi on kyl niin nähty. =) Se rakenteellinen virhe vissiin on se kiikarikantokahva vai kuinka?

Ei ole suurenneltu, kuvat varmaan vääristää. Herra Mokapartio osui oikeaan, perä on lyhyempi kuin oikeassa . Tuossa on c-mallin perä.

It's pretty much my own creation and that's the way i like it. But there will probably be some modifications in the future.

I'm just working on mine, wanna make it as close to the RS one I had some years ago as possible . I think, I will make a Bundeswehr / KSK thread as a style guide soon if someone is interested but I have to collect some more info first.

I think there would be plety of interest here for that kind of a thread. Army Code made pretty realistic receiver sets and barrel assemblies for G36 series but they're sold out everywhere. Im not sure if they even continue to manufacture them.

That's a normal C-Rail for the newer Generation G36C without ironsights.
KSK uses C-rails, scope-handles with Picatinny rail on top and RIS/RAS. And everything pretty mixed. The single soldier basically can combine his gun almost freely from a list of parts. But as I wrote, I will start a thread about that soon, when I have all infos and - especially - some links and pics.

Well maybe 'KSK-rail' isn't named correctly but those are most used with SF 'cause many don't prefer using regular optics. That is also longer than normal C-rail. I haven't seen many pics with normal C-rail. Only this longer version with MP7 sights or Eo Tech etc.

Many export models have also that newer C-rail, for example Norway MJK's.

The standard G36 scope is not so good for SF ops... To small diameter. But the newer C-rail is not longer. It just looks a bit longer as it doesn't have the fixed ironsights. If it was longer, it wouldn't fit as the mounting point in G-36 are fixed. It is a bit higher though (see http://www.sl-8.de/Rails/rails.html).

Correct. That is like the G36 I had. Mine was G36KA2 with scope-handle with rail plus EOTech 552, Knights Armament RIS and Oerlikon Contraves LLM-01. C-Mag and frontgrip belonged to the set but IIRC I only used them once or twice in the range.
Besides, these guys are not KSK. There are maybe Paratroopers or Para-Recon from DSO, the same Division which also the KSK belongs to. But KSK has different headsets and surely never does a convoy escort or similar. They show up, do the job quickly and mostly silently and then they disappear.

Thanks for clarification. Erm I doubt that. Holes for bolts must be in the same place. If newer and older C-rails are same size newer won't fit for the rifle. Or am I missing something?

Well hanz aren't my specialty so I wrote only SOF. But I'm really excited and waiting that KSK thread.

Only the rail is new . Not the rifle. Check the pics at sl-8.de. Customers demanded a rail without fixed mounted ironsights and there were some problems with mounting bigger scopes on the old plastic C-rail (vibration, etc.). So the new C-rail is made of metal and without fixed ironsights but still for the same gun .
Or do you mean the C-rail wouldn't fit the G36K? The handle mount and the main frame are identical in G36, K and C. The difference is only the length of the barrel and the handguard. The G36C comes per default with a little shorter stock but this is an available option for K and standard also.
With a little bit of luck, I can show you in RS in a few months - if I finally get HK to sell me a G36 instead of a §$&%$ SL-8 .

THAT is indeed interesting! It seems, the new C-rail uses some space which was meant to be left free for protection of the eyepiece of the scope-handle (asked some old colleague on Skype).
Good eyes man!I anyway want to do my every-two-weeks-call-to-bug-them-when-I-can-get-my-G36 to HK tomorrow. I will ask about that.
